"Joia" is a blend of incense, cedar and amber with just a faint touch of lime in the background, created as a quiet ritual for crossing from one year into the next.

The name “Joia” plays on two worlds: it echoes Joya (除夜), the Japanese New Year’s Eve night marked by temple bells that symbolically clear away the 108 earthly desires, and it also resonates with the Catalan word Joia (a “jewel”, something precious). In this candle, the true root is 除夜 – the moment of letting go and purification – while the Catalan nuance suggests the quiet, treasured joy of beginning again.

This scent is more about the crisp stillness around a temple on New Year’s Eve: cold winter air outside, stone, wood and darkness, and the solemn presence of bells about to ring – a Japanese‑inspired moment of silence before stepping into a new year.

"Joia" is designed for your own year‑end and New Year ritual: lighting a flame to release what no longer serves you and to invite in a renewed, clearer self.
